Bing, Microsoft’s search engine launched in June 2009 have been rolling out changes in the last 6 months. With Google continuing to make large strides in search engine technology things have kicked things up with Bing Ads.

Bing‘s Marketshare

With Google always being the biggest player in Search Engine technology,  Bing managed to capture a 20% share last April.

A significant growth from six years ago when Bing only had an 8% share, in a market which has had growth since.

Automated Rules

Launched in June, providing tools to advertisers to allow them to save time.

  • Set time frames to automatically adjust budgets and bids.
  • Set rules to work with holidays.
  • Preview results before making the rules live.

Campaign Planner

  • A tool to allow users to see what other advertisers bid on a specific keyword.
  • Look at seasonal trends with a year over year performance.

Shopping Campaigns

  • Import Shopping Campaigns from Google.
  • Now deeper insight to how product ads are performing.
